About The Role
The Walt Disney Company’s International Labor Standards Program (“ILS Program”) seeks to foster safe, inclusive and respectful workplaces wherever Disney-branded products are produced. We are focused on stakeholder education, facility monitoring, violation remediation, and execution of ILS policies and procedures. Our regional teams ensure that business groups and their external partners (licensees and vendors) have the capability to implement ILS program requirements within their supply chain.
You would be responsible for managing international labor standards Supply Chain Visibility (SCV) function providing program, budget, and team management in addition to strategy input.
What You Will Do
You would be responsible for leading the SCV program, including:
- Leads the global supply chain visibility program, providing strategic direction to ensure alignment with corporate compliance and sustainability objectives.
- Collaborates with functional leads to comply with in-scope supply chain regulations (e.g., EUDR, UFLPA, CSDDD) through enhanced supply chain visibility and deliver and facilitate training to increase awareness, accountability and consistent application of SCV policies and procedures.
- Promotes organization-wide use of the supply chain visibility system and ensure business units have the tools and resources to embedded into standard operations.
- Coordinates with IT to ensure the visibility platform meets business needs and regulatory requirements and engage with executive leadership and BU executives to report on program progress, compliance status, and identified risks using data-driven insights.
- Develops and manages the compliance program framework, including operational policies, governance structures, and performance metrics for supply chain visibility and due diligence.
- Serves on the ILS global leadership team as a direct report to the Executive Director.
- Interface regularly with business unit leadership and other internal stakeholder groups, including Legal, Corporate Communications, Enterprise Technology and Global Public Policy, to ensure alignment of business practices and operations with SCV objectives.
External collaboration, engagement and program support:
- In coordination with the Global Public Policy team, strengthen relevant external stakeholder engagement and external collaboration through identifying and building relationships with relevant stakeholders for supply chain visibility work.
- Represent ILS at relevant external meetings, panel discussions and conferences.
General Leadership:
- Build and lead local team to successfully implement SCV Program strategies, objectives and requirements and develop and maintain succession plan and budgets for respective focus area.
- Lead team to ensure successful implementation of the SCV Program across business units and markets which involves relationship management, risk assessment, external stakeholder engagement and collaboration, reporting and communication, education and guidance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 6 or more years of experience in CSR, traceability, or other compliance-related work preferably with specific experience in ethical sourcing or labor standards at an international level.
- Strong business acumen. Experience in a managerial role within a corporate or supply chain setting as well as international business and operations experience.
- Experience managing and leading international teams, budgets and projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CSR, ethical sourcing and labor rights issues.
- Experience in licensing, consumer products, global supply chains, manufacturing and distribution and operational matters in an international corporate setting.
- Ability to build constructive and sustainable working relationships with senior business leaders.
- Experience in program and process management and influencing key stakeholders, both internal and external, at executive levels.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SA8000 certification or equivalent
- Experience in complex, multi-national company and contract negotiations.
Education
4-year degree in Business, CSR related field, International Relations, Supply Chain Management or other related area or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $137,200.00 to $$183,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
