We are looking for a highly organized, detail-driven, and resourceful Executive Assistant to support the SVP of Marketing Strategy and Franchise Management at Disney Branded Television. This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires strong problem-solving instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate shifting priorities with professionalism and discretion.
The ideal candidate will manage complex calendar coordination, travel arrangements, and expense reporting, while also serving as a key administrative anchor for the broader marketing and franchise team. This person should thrive in a collaborative environment, be skilled at anticipating needs, and bring a proactive mindset to keeping operations running smoothly. Experience supporting senior leadership and an interest in marketing and franchise strategy are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support for the SVP, including, but not limited to:
Oversee complex calendar management, including meeting coordination, schedule changes, and prioritization of time-sensitive requests
Tactfully manage executive’s time, multi-task and communicate clearly and effectively with all team members
Arrange travel plans and create detailed itineraries
Record and maintain agendas and notes for meetings as needed
Preparation of all business-related expenses using Concur/SAP travel proxy role in a timely manner
Handle team mail and shipping requests, orders supplies/materials and process invoices (when necessary)
Schedule and manage set up for conference rooms, meetings, and video conferences as needed.
Other admin projects as assigned
This role interacts and represents SVP with the Presidents' offices and external production offices
Liaison for SVP office and TWDC divisions outside of marketing, Walt Disney Records, Consumer Products, Publishing, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of previous administrative experience on a high-volume desk
Extremely detail oriented and organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple high priority projects and appropriately prioritize work
Proactively anticipate needs of executive and manage office time efficiently
Ability to make independent decisions when handling sensitive and confidential information, while exercising good judgment and discretion when executive is out of the office
Ability to maintain an efficient office, files, database, and information
Professional, friendly, easy-going manner to handle varied personalities, responsibilities, and assignments
Ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines with a calm, professional manner
Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
High-level competency in general administrative skills including answering the phone, filing, etc. Excellent typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote and Outlook for meeting requests and calendaring
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Team player - willing to work with other assistants and staff at all levels in support of the marketing team in Burbank, and worldwide
Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
Always demonstrates a high level of professionalism and positive service attitude, strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years administrative experience with 2+ years supporting an Executive level desk
Candidate should have a strong passion for entertainment and should be familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures, especially in marketing
Experience in the entertainment industry, ideally in publicity, media or marketing
Ability to troubleshoot tech issues
Overall working knowledge with the SAP and Concur system
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $58,700.00 to $78,600.00 per year based on a 40- hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
